Sound driver problem
The USB creates its own driver so its a second sound driver for that hardware. Well, that clearly (?) shows to me that the sound driver itself should have nothing to do with the It might had been an other sound driver update before but I think I did this one as well to get rid of the stutter (I'm not sure!).

Reasonable Doubt: Car # 10 Where Are You?
NOw the modem works fine (IRQ 4) and my sound card is on IRQ 5. The only strange thing is, when with RH I had to put the modem on IRQ 10 to work. I corrected the module name in modules.conf, and tried specifying the IRQ etc, and I modprobed the opl3sa2 driver, but it still failed to work.

fix time after suspend-to-*
First, if the sound driver is not returning the same value on a "get" as the value that was issued by the last "set", that would do it. So I think, the problem might be somewhere in the new sound driver from FreeBSD 4.0? Thanx for any help, Oliver -- Oliver Brandmueller | Offenbacher Str. 1 | Germany D-14197

Loss of Sound
You must agree that the lack of proper drivers is what has created big problems with Vista. There must be a solution for this.... Perhaps MS should offer free driver developers to the big companies... that may sound strange but MS could afford it, and it would solve 70% of the vista problems, in effect it would

It seems strange that you should have trouble with relationships. Your family seems to be pretty well adjusted. Your mom and dad must have divorced, huh? Remind me again after I get my audio driver fixed. It's been broken for months, and just today I decided that I was going to take care of it.
