What are the chances you have an old version of one of the Vxxx.SYS drivers left over from 2.1? Or accidentally picked up from MS-DOS 6.2? Could be an off-by-one rounding error in the PCM driver (?) It certainly looks that way. I'm using -current with an ES1373-based Soundblaster 64V (relevant details below). The cards works fine (no random static at mpg123 startup or during heavy system load) but the mixer command behaves strange: Just after startup:

PS it does give me some strange error in the drivers setup about the Tascam not being fully authorized or whatever under XP, but the setup controls seem to work, and some other spurious error about how something is not necessary under SP2, that shouldn't be an error...poor quality installation software.

This is strange, there is sound coming out of all the speakers when I test them but when I try to play music it only comes out of the front right speaker.
